COVID 19 (POLICY)


Covid 19 Policy


Please see the following changes that have been introduced to safeguard the wellbeing of customers and staff.

 

If you have symptoms of Covid-19 or have been instructed to self-isolate, you MUST NOT visit the kennels.  Please contact us so that special preparations can be made. You should ask a neighbour, friend or relative to transport your pet for you. We can as part of our service arrange collection and drop off for your pet.


  • Reception will remain open for the foreseeable future, but social distancing must be adhered to and one owner(s) only to be present and MASKs to be worn.


  • Kennel tours will continue with social distancing and MASK to be worn at all times.


  • Booking forms can be emailed to customers to confirm pet details such as food type, quantity and details of any medical condition and medications. Where this is not possible, this information will be checked on arrival.


  • Where possible, we ask that customers email us photographs of their pet’s updated vaccination cards.


  • Check in & Check out will continue as usual but if we notice a build up of vehicles coming and going may revert to appointment only.


  • Upon arrival, please remain in your car until directed by a member of staff.


  • Please use the Sanitizer Station located to the left of the reception door outside to the left or the one located to the right as you enter the premises. Please also use on departure.


  • Strict social distancing will be observed when pets are handed over. Staff will guide you through this process.


  • Staff will wear masks when interacting with customers.


  • We will no longer accept bedding and only ONE favoured toy should accompany the pet. The toy will be disinfected upon arrival and again before departure.


  • Collars and harnesses will be asked to be kept by the owners but may revert to the usual way when restrictions change. If we are to hold them, they will be disinfected.


  • Prior to collection we recommend that payment is made over the phone and where this is not possible, we will take payment in reception as per usual.


  • For customers who wish to pay by cash, we ask that you bring the exact payment, to avoid the need to give change and all cash payments will be placed in our ultraviolet machine.


  • Door handles, card machine and reception pen are all sanitized after each use


Vulnerable or Shielding Customers

Please contact us before bringing your pet, so that elevated precautions can be taken to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
